Festival Season Is Underway!
Colorful flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and this Spring season is giving us so much life (And allergies lol)! Festival season is underway and we’ve got great ideas for your weekend and the rest of this month!
An exciting festival to check out is the Toyota Texas Music Revolution. This annual event, hosted by local radio station 95.3 The Range, brings together amazing artists to bring you sensational music. This year, there will be performances by Kacey Musgraves, Josh Ritter, Kiefer Sutherland, and Castro. This event will take place Friday, March 24th at Amphitheater at Oak Point Park. Doors open at 4:30 pm.
Spring has sprung! The Dallas Blooms festival is a spring must-do. This event is the South’s largest spring floral festival and its theme for this year is “Flower Power”! The Dallas Arboretum’s floral festival features more than 500,000 spring blooming bulbs, florally decorated topiary Volkswagen Bugs, and special activities. This breathtaking festival will show you colors your eyes have rarely seen, and it’s fun for the whole family. This event will take place Friday, March 24th. Hours run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets start at $15.
We’ve got the perfect idea for a girl’s night out! Friday, March 24th Vanessa Carlton will be coming to the Granada Theatre. She will be performing many hits like “A Thousand Miles”, the first single from her platinum- selling album Be Not Nobody. Doors open at 9:00 pm. Tickets start at $29.
Get ready to dance for a good cause! Beautykind is an online retailer where consumers can shop for beauty brands while raising funds for charities. They will be hosting the first of many events called, “Beautykind Unites Concert for Causes series”. This show will raise funds for the American Heart Association and feature award-winning artists including Demi Lovato, The Band Perry, Jake Owen and Cole Swindell with a special appearance by Randy Travis. This event will take place Saturday, March 25th at the AT&T Stadium. Tickets start at $50.

It’s that time of the year again! Edgefest is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and the lineup reads like an homage to its earlier days. Edgefest will make you feel nostalgic with performances from heavy-hitters like: Blink 182, The Nixons, Toadies, 311, and Offspring. This event goes on this year without its namesake radio station, 102.1 The Edge, which left the airwaves last year. This event will take place Saturday, April 1st, at 12:00 pm.
The Big Texas Beer Fest is back with its sixth annual festival! More than 120 breweries will be pouring more than 500 delicious beers, for your enjoyment. There will be live performances by bands and food will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks. This event will take place at the Automobile Building in Fair Park, March 31- April 1. Tickets start at $35.
