24K Magic In The Air!

I’ve heard it said: “Instead of yelling BOO this Halloween, yell something even scarier like COMMITMENT or STUDENT LOANS”, Lol!! It’s time for some Halloween fun and there are plenty of fun activities to check out, this weekend! From concerts to haunted houses, we have plenty of ideas for you to enjoy your time-off, in Dallas! 

 

The one, the only- Bruno Mars will be coming to Dallas!! Even at the young age of 32, Bruno Mars has accomplished so much. Some have said that Bruno Mars is quickly rising to be the Prince or Michael Jackson of our generation. The Hawaiian native grew up singing from a young age, impersonating Elvis and is now a multi-Grammy award winner and has sung for the Super Bowl. 5 Grammys, to be exact! Bruno Mars is now traveling the world with his 24K Magic World Tour celebrates his new album, 24K Magic. You won’t want to miss this show! This event will take place on Friday, October 27th. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $50.

 

Country Fans, this one’s for you! Chris Stapleton released his latest album “Volume 1” almost exactly 2 years after his last release “Traveler”. Traveler had one of the best selling first weeks by a debut country artist in 2015, as well as becoming the No. 1 album on Billboard for two straight weeks! At the 49th annual CMA awards, Stapleton became the first artist ever, to win Album of the Year and also New Artist of the Year! Now on his worldwide tour promoting his latest album Volume 1, Stapleton will be joined on tour with Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb. This event will take place at the Starplex Pavilion on Saturday, October 28th. Tickets start at $68. Doors open at 7:30 pm. 

 

We have your guide to some of the scariest Haunted houses, in Dallas! 

- Screams is a Halloween theme park featuring 5 haunted houses, live entertainment and more! This Friday and Saturday night check out the Hotel of Horror, the Carnevil Clown Maze, and more! Also enjoy one of the three taverns on site!! Hours are 7:30 pm to 1:30 am. General admission tickets are $30. 

- Reindeer Manor Halloween Park at Reindeer Manor, is the one of the oldest haunted houses in Texas, with three haunted attractions. Takes place Friday, October 13th, 8:00 pm to 12:00 am. General admission is $15 for one attraction, $25 for two attractions, $35 for all three attractions. 

- The Parker House Haunted Attraction is a Denton-based haunted house that features three main attractions. This will take place at Parker House from October 12th through October 31st. Hours are 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets start at $25.

- The Creekside Manor Haunted house is surrounded by dark, ominous woods and offers a traditional haunted house experience. Even better, Creekside Manor sponsors one child in the area battling a serious illness. The net proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated directly to the child’s family. This event will take place at Creekside Manor and will run from October 14th through October 31st. Tickets start at $15 and hours are 7:00 pm to 12:00 am. 

- The Dark Hour Haunted House that will take you on a journey through the Coven Manor. This act has broadway-worth sets and professional actors. This event will take place at Dark Hour Haunted House from October 12th through October 31st.Hours are 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. General Admission is $23. 

- Lastly, there’s the Cutting Edge Haunted House. It’s located in an abandoned meatpacking plant and ranked one of the largest haunted houses in the country. This event will take place at the Cutting Edge Haunted house and tickets can be purchased at the door, cash only. You can pre order tickets online, as well. General admission tickets are $30. Parking is $15. Hours are 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm and this event will run from October 14th through November 4th. 

 

Autumn is officially here, and the Dallas Arboretum sure knows how to get you in the mood for Fall! The Autumn at the Arboretum is a spectacular sight to see, with over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash beautifully displayed all over the acres of  Dallas Arboretum’s landscape. The gardens are bursting with over 150,000 fall blooming flowers, and there will be a variety of different activities to partake in! This Fall display will be going on until November 22nd. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets start at $15.

 

You can also enjoy Beer Tastings at the Dallas Arboretum Enjoy this beautiful weekend with beer tastings at Cafe on the Green. Prices are $10 per tasting which includes four 2 oz. pours. Also available is the new Arboretum Amber craft beer, brewed for the Arboretum by Texas Ale Project.

 

Join in on the Halloween fun with Trick or Tours at Globe Life Park in Arlington! check out the Field of Screams tour at 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 27; 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 28; 7:15 p.m. Oct. 29; 7:15 p.m. Oct. 30; and 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 31. There will also be food, games, and more! Tickets start at $10.

If you’ve ever wanted to see Ringo Starr from the Beatles perform, we have good news!! Releasing his 19th solo album, Give More Love, on Sept. 15th Beatles legend Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band are on their worldwide tour, and their next stop is Dallas! This legendary show will take place on Friday, November 3rd at the Toyota Music Factory. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $75

 

Jay Z will be coming to Dallas with his “4:44” tour!! There is isn’t much more you can say about Jay Z, other than he is definitely one of the best rappers of our age. The Bronx native started out rapping in 1996 with the legendary Biggie Smalls. Fast forward to 2017, and he is still at the head of the game, packing out stadiums and married to the Queen Bey, herself. You won’t want to miss this amazing show!! This event will take place at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday, November 7th. Doors open at 8:00 pm.Tickets start at $35.

 

Fall Out Boy is coming to Dallas! One of the last 2000’s punk band still standing is Fall Out Boy, and for good reason! They are constantly reinventing their style and message by producing chart topping albums and singles including hits like “Sugar”, “We’re Goin’ Down”, “Centuries” and more! Promoting their latest album release “Mania”, Fall Out Boy will be on tour with Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith as well as Blackbear! This event will take place at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, November 8th. Tickets start at $31. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
