Hillsong Young and Free is on their worldwide tour and their next stop will be in Dallas, this Friday, May 12th! Hillsong Young and Free has an indie-pop vibe, infused with the message of love and hope. A message that we need to hear now, more than ever. This will be a show you won't want to miss! This event will take place at the South Side Ballroom. Tickets start at $24. Doors open at 7:00pm.
May is the month for tasty Crawfish festivals and we have a great one in mind for you!
Asia Times Square's 2nd annual Crawfish Festival features live music, family fun, contests and a variety of crawfish vendors and cold Beer - Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck, I-Ce NY Rolled Ice Cream, Kona Ice and many more. There will also be entertainment from the Sons of Rio and the Violin Guy. Best of all, this event has FREE admission and parking. If you're brave enough, there will also be exciting contests such as: the Fire Tail (spiciest crawfish) and the Fat Tail (most crawfish eaten). This event will take place Saturday, May 13th at Asia Times Square. Hours are 3:00-11:00 pm.
One of the best parts of living in this beautiful city is experiencing the diversity of cultures from all over the world. This Saturday, May 13th head out to Fair Park for the Asian Festival. The Asian Heritage Month celebration is a family-friendly festival showcasing cultural performances, arts and crafts, a children's fair, vendors and authentic Asian cuisines from countries including Sri Lanka, Philippines, Korea and China. This is a free festival. Hours are 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
This weekend, the Arboretum will be a great place to take your precious Mom, for Mother's Day. This Saturday, check out the gorgeous array of hundreds of thousands of flowers and enjoy live entertainment from Marc Toussaint from the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage on the lawn behind Camp House with an incredible view of White Rock Lake. Bring a picnic, or just sit and listen to the beautiful music. On Sunday, find a spot in the Jonsson Color Garden to picnic and hear Serenata Strings or harpist, Merry Miller. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets start at $15.

It's that time of year, again. Taste Addison 2017 will not disappoint! Friday, May 19th come experience a variety of tastes from delicious cuisines from all over the world. This three-day food festival is a celebration of food, music and fun- featuring pay-per-bite samples from Addison restaurants (most in the $3 to $5 range), live music, chef demonstrations and a children’s activity area. There will also be awesome music performances! Friday, May 19 - Dallas’ own Vanilla Ice. Saturday, May 20 - Country artist Gary Allan with opening act Granger Smith.Ticket prices start at $15. Free for children 11 and younger.
Get ready to experience a blast from the past with this concert! On Tuesday, May 23rd check out this unforgettable concert, with performances by: New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, and Paula Abdul! This event will take place at the American Airlines Center. Doors open at 7:30. Tickets start at $30.
