Their Spotify plays are off the charts with each hit song averaging out at 10 million+, per single. All these chart topping bands and artists have paved the way for a new sound in modern country music, today. You won’t want to miss this concert. R&B Queen and legend Mary J. Blige will be coming to Dallas with her Strength of a Woman tour, featuring special guest Lalah Hathaway. This tour features songs from her 13th studio album release of the same name, plus favorites from her nine-time Grammy winning catalog. This event will take place at the Music Hall at Fair Park on Saturday August 26th. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Tickets start $60

Many of you may be true Texans, or perhaps you just moved here and you’re falling deeply in love with all that is Texas. But one thing is for sure, you’re not fully immersing yourself in the true Texan lifestyle, if you haven’t been to a Rodeo!! The Mesquite Rodeo is a show to see! ThisSaturday, August 26th head over to the Mesquite Arena. The traditional rodeo events include the best of championship rodeo: bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding, cowgirl barrel racing, tie-down roping, steer wrestling and team roping. In addition to all the excitement of the rodeo competition, there are live country music shows, patriotic pageantry, comedy and kid-friendly activities, such as calf scrambles and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. and rodeo action starts at 7:30 p.m. There will also be live music from Texas country artists and dancing are in the 8 Second Club, and there’s plenty of shopping and dining for the whole family. Tickets start at $20.
We are due to have cooler temperatures this weekend, so what better idea than to enjoy yourselves outside at the Addison’s Summer Series event? He’s coming back in September! 2 Chains is an artist that has been dominating charts, all over the world. Hailing from Georgia, the newest capital of hip-hop, Grammy award winning 2 Chainz has proven his unique style and brand. 2 Chainz is the stage name of Atlanta rapper Tauheed Epps, once known as City Boi in the Atlanta-based Playaz Circle. Now on his world-wide tour, 2 Chainz is coming to Dallas AGAIN to bring you a fun filled night! This event will take place at the Gas Monkey Live Friday, September 29th. Tickets start at $43.
