What more is there to life, than love and relationships? We must love and support one another. From all the Audio family- our love, prayer, and support reaches out to all of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. We want to start out this weekend’s article with a list of organizations that are joining to help support those who are in need.
- On Friday, Sept. 1, 15 percent of dinner proceeds at RJ Mexican Cuisine in the West End will go toward organizations helping with the fallout from Harvey.
- Full City Rooster, the best coffeehouse in Dallas, is donating 10 percent of all coffee sales in September to relief efforts.
- Al Biernat’s will donate 10 percent of lunch and Sunday brunch sales to the Red Cross through the month of September.
- Admission to the Perot Museum will be free for Harvey evacuees through Sept. 30.
- Buda Juice will donate $1 of every bottle of juice sold on Saturday, Sept. 2, to Feeding Texas.
- Dallas musicians will perform at a fundraiser concert at Club Dada on Sept. 2. Performers to be announced. Proceeds will go toward the Red Cross, Trusted World, and ASPCA.
- Every Del Frisco’s outpost in the country — that’s 53 restaurants — will contribute 20 percent of sales from Thursday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 5to hurricane relief efforts.

This Friday, September 1st, come out to the Bedford Blues and BBQ Festival for mouth-watering barbecue and fun!! This event will be a three day festival
Running from September 1-3 with blues on 2 stages and a barbecue cook-off. The admission and parking will be FREE, only on Friday! Live music starts at 2pm on Saturday & Sunday. There will be spectacular performances by Ronnie Earl, Delbert McClinton, Marcia Ball, and Buddy Guy. This event is taking place at the Bedford City Hall. Hours vary, depending on the day. Tickets start at $7.
Get ready to dance the night away- the Queen of Dallas will be hosting the Riverfront Jazz Festival! Erykah Badu leads a host of jazz, R&B, soul, blues and Neo-soul artists that will be scheduled to perform at the festival. How many performers? More than 30 top performers on 2 main stages, plus 40+ acts on the Promising Young Artists stage! This event will take place at the Texas Horse Park on Friday, September 1st. Tickets start at $50. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
If you love alt-country, this one’s for you! Since 2006, the American Aquarium is a band that has been gaining headlines with their hits such as “Losing Side of Twenty Five”, “I Hope He Breaks Your Heart”. Their hits are climbing the Spotify charts with plays ranging from 560,000 to almost 2 million plays!!
This event will take place at the Granada Theatre on Saturday September,
2nd. Tickets start at $24. Doors open at 8:00 pm.
Hailing from Germany and Texas, Bob Schneider has independently released 3 albums before signing with a major label. Combining the traditional singer/songwriter aesthetic with the groove of country, rock and folk, Schneider has perfectly married the styles with hits like “Peaches”, “40 Dogs”, “Honeypot” and more! This event will take place at the Levitt Pavilion For the Performing Arts on Saturday, September 2nd. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Best of all, this event is FREE!
Any Soccer fans looking for some fun weekend plans? This Saturday, September 2nd, come cheer on FC Dallas against New York Red Bulls at the Toyota Stadium. Doors open at 6:30 pm and kickoff is at 8:00 pm. This event will take place at the Toyota Stadium. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $25.
The 6th annual Labor Day weekend Homebrew Festival will be this weekend!! This festival celebrates homebrews and the teams that make them. Taste beer from many Dallas-Fort Worth homebrew teams who are competing for top honors at the Festival. The festival includes homebrew teams pouring their unique brews, live music, games, and food trucks. This event will take place at the Deep Ellum Brewing Company on Sunday September the 3rd. Important---To sample beer, state law requires that you purchase (in advance) a homebrew membership. Love your pup? Bring them too! The festival is dog friendly. Children 17 and younger are welcome; 18-20 year olds will not be admitted. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets start at $30.

Who doesn’t love Janet Jackson? Well, get ready! Janet Jackson's State of the World Tour is coming to Dallas! This tour is a continuation of the Unbreakable tour and will include fan favorites from Jackson's chart-topping Unbreakable album, an array of socially conscious music she’s released throughout her career, other hits and soon-to-be released new tracks with a state of the art live stage production. This event will take place on Thursday September 14th. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $20.
I have really good news for you! If you missed seeing 2 Chainz at the beginning of August, don’t despair! He’s coming back in September! 2 Chains is an artist that has been dominating charts, all over the world. Hailing from Georgia, the newest capital of hip-hop, Grammy award winning 2 Chainz has proven his unique style and brand. 2 Chainz is the stage name of Atlanta rapper Tauheed Epps, once known as City Boi in the Atlanta-based Playaz Circle. Now on his world-wide tour, 2 Chainz is coming to Dallas AGAIN to bring you a fun filled night! This event will take place at the Gas Monkey Live Friday, September 29th. Tickets start at $43.
