One of the most iconic bands of our time, Depeche Mode, is coming to town! The synth-pop band has been paving the way to new innovative sounds since the 1980s. They will be performing some of their most iconic singles “Just Can’t Get Enough”, “New Life”, “See you” as well as more recent ones like “Enjoy The Silence”, “Personal Jesus” and most recently, “Where’s the Revolution”. The Global Spirit Tour is in support of the band’s upcoming 14th studio album, “Spirit”, out on March 17th via Columbia Records. The album’s powerful and timely first single, “Where’s The Revolution”, has already been well-received and has proven to the world Depeche Mode is here to stay. This event is taking place on Friday, September 22nd at the Starplex Pavillion. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $35.
Southern Rap legend, Bun B is coming to Dallas. Texas raised Bun B rose to fame as part of the duo UGK, which was formed in the 80s. Now on his nationwide tour, he’s promoting his hits like “ Get Throwed”, “I’m On 2.0”, and more! This event will take place at Trees on Friday, September 22nd. Tickets start at $25. Doors open at 9:00 pm.
It’s that time of year again! The Mckinney Oktoberfest is going down this weekend, at the Historic Downtown Mckinney. This three-day event is a family favorite, letting you feel like you’re stepping into Germany offering authentic German food and drinks, entertainment, children’s activities and fun. Patrons will feel like they are right in the middle of Munich and enjoy authentic German fare like bier, brats, strudel, pretzels and live music. Kick off the weekend by participating in the Oktoberfest march and view the brew tapping where the first keg of McKinney-brewed beer will be tapped by hammering the bronze spout into a 200-year-old keg. There will also be authentic German music performances by bands such as Brave Combo, Alpine Village Band and STV Almrausch. This event will take place September 22-24th from 4:00pm to 11:00 pm.
The Plano Balloon Festival is a sight to behold! Dozens of colorful hot air balloons that take up the Texas sky will make for a memory you won’t forget. This three-day festival is complete with music, food, fireworks, kids activities, vendors, and of course, incredible hot air balloons! Balloons launch Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Sunday at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.(weather permitting). This event will take place on Friday, September 22nd at the Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. Hours are from 4:00pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets start at $5. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
Country music lovers, this one’s for you! Country Music star, Luke Bryan is coming to Dallas and bringing his iconic friends Granger Smith and Brett Eldridge, too! You won’t want to miss this show! This event will take place at the Starplex Pavillion on Saturday, September 23rd at the Starplex Pavilion. Tickets start at $36. Doors open at 7:00 pm.

This fun barbecue and music fest features an all-star lineup of Texas’ best pit masters, chefs and music. Enjoy tasty meats by 15 top BBQ joints and cooks, sides by Cafe Momentum,fun games and music by headliner Charley Crockett, the Vandoliers and Chef Dean Fearing's Lost Coyote band. This event will take place at the Main Street Garden on Saturday, September 23rd. Ticket prices vary and start at $50. Kids are $10 Hours are 3:00pm to 7:00 pm.
If you love Greek food and culture, you’ll love this event! Get fully immersed in all that is Greek culture at the 61st edition of the Greek Food Festival of Dallas. Sample delicious foods that are handmade by Trinity Greek Orthodox Church's own cooks, from recipes passed down through the generations! Mouth-watering foods like: gyros, lamb sliders, spanakopita, baklava and so much more! Visit the Taverna for Greek wine and beer. Stop in the Kaffenio under the tent for coffee and pastries. There will also be traditional folk dancing and music, a food shop, cooking demos, backgammon tent, children's activities, and a marketplace with art and imports. This event will take place at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, September 22nd. Hours are 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $6 plus the cost of food.

The incredible and extremely talented Lauryn Hill will be joined on stage by Das and Chronixx. This will be a show you will not want to miss! This event will take place at the Pavillion at the Music Factory on Thursday, September 28th. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets start at $32.
I have really good news for you! If you missed seeing 2 Chainz at the beginning of August, don’t despair! He’s coming back in September! 2 Chains is an artist that has been dominating charts, all over the world. Hailing from Georgia, the newest capital of hip-hop, Grammy award winning 2 Chainz has proven his unique style and brand. 2 Chainz is the stage name of Atlanta rapper Tauheed Epps, once known as City Boi in the Atlanta-based Playaz Circle. Now on his world-wide tour, 2 Chainz is coming to Dallas AGAIN to bring you a fun filled night! This event will take place at the Gas Monkey Live Friday, September 29th. Tickets start at $43.
Father John Misty is coming to Dallas! Josh Tillman, the former Fleet Foxes drummer, is bringing his own modern twist to the art of rock n’ roll with hits like “Chateau Lobby #4”, “Nancy From Now On”, “Real Love Baby”, and more! He will be coming to the Bomb Factory on Saturday, September 30th. Tickets start at $40. Doors open at 8:00 pm.
