One of the biggest names in the game, Lil Wayne, is coming to Dallas tonight!!!
This Multi-Grammy winner has been rocking stages all over the world and dominating charts, for over a decade now. Now he will be coming to you, to put on a show you won’t forget!! He will be performing at the South Side Ballroom Friday, April 28th. Tickets start at $55. Doors open at 8:00 pm.
Get ready to rock n’ roll! Atlas Genius is performing at the House of Blues tonight!! They are guaranteed to show you a great time with hits like “Trojan”, “If So”, “Stockholm” and more! This event will take place Friday, April 28th. Tickets start at 7:00 pm. Doors open at $18.
One of the best things about living in Texas, is the amazing Mexican food!! Come partake in one of the tastiest festivals around, Taco Libre!!! This year's taco fest moves to the Dallas Farmers Market and takes place Friday, April 29. Which by the way, is the weekend before Cinco de Mayo!! Doors open at 3 p.m. for taco tasting, Lucha Libre matches and live music. Purchase tacos from 21 of the area's best taquerias. Each stand will have several $2 options. There will be musical performances by Jenny and the Mexicats, Los Skarnales, Piñata Protest and Dallas’ own Supersonic Lips. Tickets start at $16. Hours are 3:00- 10:00 pm.
The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival is a celebration of the arts in a community known for embracing and nurturing music, dance, drama and the visual arts. This event will take place at Denton’s Quakertown Park, on Friday, April 28th. This Festival features 7 stages of continuous professional and community music, fine art, crafts, and food, games and information booths in a beautiful setting. Best of all, this event is FREE! Hours are 5:00-11:00 pm.
Get ready for a fun Friday night! Come hang with your favs at the Commerce Street Night Market. The Night Market brings together local vendors, musicians, and artists on Friday, April 28th For FREE! Shop local, enjoy great food & beer, listen to live music, and be entertained into the night. Hours are 6:00 -10:00 p.m.
What better way to dance than under the stars, to your favorite tunes, surrounded by the beautiful architecture of Downtown Dallas? Decks in the Park is a festival created to build community through FREE music events that feature the best up-and-coming local talent! Dallas’ top DJs will wow you with a variety of different styles of family- friendly grooves ranging from electronic, house, and reggae to classic rewinds, groove, soul, funk, organic hip-hop, and other new genres. There will be plenty of space to bring your own picnic, or you can grab dinner from one of the delicious food trucks on site! This event will be taking place at the Klyde Warren Park, Friday April 28th from 6:00pm- 10:00pm.
Get ready to go down Nostalgia Lane!! The DFW Music Festival will be bringing some of biggest Hip hop and R&B Artists of the 1990’s- 2000’s! Names like Mike Jones, K-Ci and JoJo, Bun B, Scarface, 112 and more!! This event will take place at the Verizon Theatre on Saturday, April 29th. Doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $52.
What could be better than a Dog Festival? Get ready to experience a glimpse of heaven at the World’s Largest Dog Day at Dr. Pepper Ballpark!!! Bring your pup for a fun day at the ballpark. There will be crazy contests, a talent show, grooming lessons, enclosed free play area, giveaways, and more. Don't have a dog? Come and join in the fun and visit the adoption groups to find your new best furry friend. Free admission for dogs. People ages 2 and older need a ticket. This event will take place Saturday, April 29th. Online ticket prices $10- $17, $20 at the gate. Hours are 12:00-4:00 pm.
The Fortress Festival will be one for the books, with performances by: Purity Ring, Flying Lotus, Run the Jewels and many more! This two-day festival is set in the midst of Fort Worth’s Cultural District Saturday April 29 through Sunday April 30th. The festival will feature two outdoor stages, one at the Will Rogers Memorial Center and another at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Single Day passes are $65 and Admission for both days starts at $105. Ticket price includes free access to The Modern.

Head over to the American Airlines Center for the Chris Brown Party Tour with none other than 50 Cent!!!! There will also be performances by Fabolous, O.T. Genasis, Kap G, and hopefully other artists who actually know how to spell words correctly, lol!! This event will take place Saturday, May 6th. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $35.
